Job Description

Primaire Consulting are looking to speak with Area Sales Managers with the ability to solution sell a product range of technical monitoring instruments, covering Gas Detection, Noise, Sound, Vibration, Air Quality, Dust, Fit-Testing, Heat Stress, and Asbestos. You will be joining a national sales team, you'll showcase the advantages of  top-notch instruments and drive sales growth with both existing and new customers. 


This role offers the excitement of working in a dynamic technical sales environment, with ample opportunities for networking and face-to-face interactions at conferences, events, and exhibitions. Full product training will be provided to ensure success in this role.


The Role:

•    Collaborating with the Product Specialist team to achieve company goals and targets
•    Meeting targets for profitable sales growth within assigned product lines
•    Building professional relationships with key stakeholders in customer accounts
•    Proactively identifying and pursuing prospects among non-existing customers
•    Efficiently managing the customer pipeline to facilitate accurate reporting
•    Working closely with the Marketing Department to meet sales objectives
•    Liaising effectively with all departments to exceed customer expectations
•    Collaborating with and training other team members as needed
•    Representing the business at exhibitions/tradeshows across the UK & Ireland.


The Person:

•    Genuine interest in technical sales
•    Previous experience in sales and/or with technical products
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent organization and prioritization abilities
•    Proficiency in problem-solving and independent initiative
•    Strong negotiation and influencing skills
•    Exceptional telephone sales skills
•    Capability to create and deliver engaging presentations
•    Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships
•    Proactive interest in industry developments and self-learning
•    Team player mindset with a positive contribution to the business
•    Strong ethics in making customer-centric sales decisions
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel); knowledge of SAP or similar systems is advantageous.
